Velocity Baseball & Softball is a membership-based pitching and hitting cage facility focused on development, unleashing potential, game day cues and pointers. Our convenient location in Ankeny is efficiently sized with 6 indoor cages and an outdoor long toss field. Our business is owned by two sports loving families who value developing character, resilience, and skill by doing your best and maximizing the ability God gave you!
The Christensens and Kollns are proud Ankeny families who have raised their kids playing sports including countless hours on the field playing, and in the yard practicing. We have a passion for coaching and developing players with over 15 years of experience coaching Little League, USSSA, and high school. We have certifications in youth performance training and coaching. We connect with players and provide assessments and personalized instruction to help each person grow and unleash their potential.
